Bylor are looking to recruit 16 trainees to join their Steel Fixing traineeship programme. This traineeship will last for 6 weeks and will provide an opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge relating to Steel Fixing.

Steel Fixing is the construction of various models to reinforced concrete such as beams, walls, columns, pile caps and slabs.
This Traineeship is an opportunity to gain new skills and knowledge relating to Steel Fixing, Groundworks and Health & Safety. On successful completion of your Traineeship, you will gain an interview with Bylor where you will have the opportunity to become one of their new Steel Fixing Apprentices, starting 19th April 2022.
During your 6 week programme, you will work towards and achieve the CSCS card which enables you to access work on Construction Sites.
You will be required to work as part of a team during your Work Experience Project and will learn how to demonstrate the HPC Values and Behaviours.
The Traineeship will consist of the following components:
- Health & Safety Training
- Steel Fixing & Civil Engineering basic skills
- Work Experience Project (working as a team on the college’s construction site)
- English, maths and digital skills

- Eligible to work in England
- Unemployed and have little or no work experience
- Aged 16 to 24
- Qualified below Level 4
Working week
Monday – Friday at College for a 6 week period. Possible start dates between January 24th to 4th March.
