The Costa Traineeship is for those aged 16-24 who are unemployed and looking to find sustainable employment. To be eligible applicants must hold a qualification no higher than a Level 3 (A Level equivalent).
About This Programme
The programme works to improve confidence and to give you the skills needed to stand out to employers. A Traineeship can provide you with a great opportunity to find your way onto the career ladder.
If you want to work, but are a little unsure of your skills, a Traineeship could be the right fit for you. The Traineeship programme is a short-term opportunity, lasting between six weeks and six months. It’s a chance to get a high-quality work placement with flexible training and support.
How this programme will support you
The programme also supports with improving essential work skills as well as Maths and English where needed. Our Costa Coffee Traineeship is specifically designed in partnership with Costa Coffee and offers practical experience through a mix of classroom, work based and remote learning.
The programme is designed to provide you with the skills and experience needed to improve your employability and to support you to move into sustainable employment in the Hospitality/Barista sector.
During the programme you will get the chance to do a paid 70-hour work placement in a local Costa Coffee store. During that time, you will get to experience a range of tasks, learn essential skills and gain valuable work experience for your CV.
All learners are provided with a range of additional support and during your programme you will receive a bespoke plan to charge up your career.
At the end of the programme, we aim to progress all our learners to paid employment and onto apprenticeship programmes that further your career.
