Macc Care Group is a leading group of care homes, in and around Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
The company is recruiting a Facilities Assistant through the Kickstart scheme.
As a Facilities Assistant you will work alongside the existing maintenance officer and facilities manager to assist replacement, repair and maintenance of building, fixtures and fittings.
Some of your duties will include identifying hazards, defects and to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety, carry out basic electrical maintenance such as changing light bulbs as well as carry out general painting and decorating.
To be eligible for this role you will have good communication skills and be able to follow instruction, some experience in DIY formally or informally is also desirable.
