John Taylor Hospice has been providing expert ‘Taylor-made’ end of life care for families in Birmingham since 1910.

The hospice is recruiting a Retail Assistant through the Kickstart scheme.

In this role you will work in one of the charity’s shops supporting the Shop Manager in creating brilliant customer service and raising valuable funds for the hospice.

Your main duties will be to provide excellent customer service to raise funds, prepare stock for the shop floor, present stock professionally, assist with the collection of donations from the local community and identify stock for sale online.

To be eligible for this role you will be enthusiastic, friendly, and polite and have a willingness to learn new skills. 

PLEASE NOTE: 

You must be aged 16-24 and in receipt of Universal Credit to apply for these opportunities. You cannot apply for a Kickstart Placement directly with an employer. You need to be referred to these opportunities by your Work Coach.
