The food and beverage assistant role within the promenade is essential in providing a 5 star experience for all of our guests. Our food and beverage assistants provide support and expertise in every aspect of the service we provide.

The apprentice will be expected to:

• To provide a professional and courteous service within the promenade
• As a promenade food and beverage assistant you are supporting the smooth running of the operation in the promenade
• To prepare all hot beverages as required and as described in the respective section of the Standards of Performance manual
• To prepare prior to each service, Mise en place for the stations and service areas
• To keep the pantry area clean and tidy. Follow the cleaning schedule as required
• To polis crockery, glass and cutlery prior to service as required
• To be flexible and be able to assist with the clearing and relaying of tables
• To be aware of basic food hygiene and be fully conversant with the legislation
• To collect food from the kitchen as required
