Become part of a busy wide format printers based in Strood Kent supplying print and point of sale products. The traineeship role will be 3 days a week in our production facilities working a 7.5 hour shift with a 20 minute lunch break.

This Traineeship work experience is part of an education and training programme that is focused on giving young people the skills and experience that employers are looking for. At its core is the work preparation training, English and maths for those who need it, and a high-quality work experience placement.

Traineeships help unlock your great potential and give you the work preparation training, maths, English, Digital Skills and work experience needed to get an Apprenticeship or other job.

Are you eligible?

  • Are you currently not in a job? Do you have little or no work experience?
  • Are you aged 16 to 24 and qualified below Level 3 (A level)?

During this time you will be called upon to work and start your learning across different disciplines including but not limited to:

  • Studio, learning how artwork files are received checked planned for the machines and ripped
  • Printing, learning how the machines work and are operated
  • Finishing, learning the different finishing techniques required for print across all wide format sectors
  • Packaging, learning how to wrap and prepare for delivery individual and multi pack items

We are looking for motivated individuals who want the opportunity to come to work and learn in a busy environment and who hopefully after the 12 week traineeship will be selected for a 30 month apprentice ship

  • Award in Printing and Graphic Communications
  • Award in Employability Skills
  • Functional Skills
  • NCFE Level 1 Certificate in Digital Skills
