Basic induction.

  • Introduction to The Norfolk Hub & the TNH Trainees/Apprenticeship Pathway by Dan Lacey, Director and Harriet Bullen, The Norfolk Hub Pantry
  • Introduction to TNH Operations – by Chris Bostock, Operations Manager,
  • Heath and Safety Guidelines, with additional COVID-19 Guidelines – by Chris Bostock, Operations Manager
  • Standard Operating Procedures, Best Practice & Workplace Standards & Guidelines – by Chris Bostock, Operations Manager

Operations, Warehousing & Logistics:

General Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of all ‘goods in/out’ including perishable goods, alcohol, raw ingredients & packaging
  • Implementing and adhering to the company’s HR policies, Employee Handbook guidelines & Health & Safety procedures
  • Stock Control & Inventory Management using TNH’s bespoke inventory management software
  • Assistance in regular stock takes
  • General warehouse ‘upkeep’

Fulfilment:

  • Utilising company software to ‘pick & pack’ a range of products for the following customer categories throughout Norfolk/East Anglia (not sure which is best in this instance?)
  • On & Off-Trade
  • Online customers
  • Holiday cottage customers
  • TNH’s existing customer base

Delivery:

  • Driver’s Mate role
  • Route planning using software and maps
  • Unloading/Loading goods vehicles on a day-to-day basis
  • Organising delivery notes, manifest & invoices and ensuring relevant paperwork is checked and signed
  • Implementing and adhering to the company’s delivery protocols – esp including “Contact-less Covid-19 Delivery Guidelines”
  • Cash & Cheque Handling Procedures – NOTE : this is currently suspended due to Covid-19
