Creating a diverse workforce : Race & Ethnicity Symposium Session

Youth Ambassador Chair, Ciara O’Donnell welcomed our attendees to our Race & Ethnicity Creating Opportunities session today, the third  session of our week long Symposium series.

Ciara was joined by Nathan Dennis, First Class Legacy, Sope Otulana, Head of Research, Youth Futures Foundation, Youth Ambassador Tenika and Harriet Booth and Balvinder Jassel-Jones from the Department of Health and Social Care.

This session aimed to give a better understanding of the issues being faced by ethnic minorities and those from diverse backgrounds. The session highlighted the key barriers young people face in accessing work and the work we all have to do in ensuring a fairer, more equal society.
