Share Your Feedback to Shape Careers Resources for Young People with SEND who are Home Educated

Youth Employment UK is excited to invite parents/carers to contribute and share your feedback to help shape an important project. Youth Employment UK, in partnership with The Careers & Enterprise Company, is reviewing and developing careers resources specifically tailored for young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) who are home-educated.

We are inviting parents/carers of young people with SEND, who are home-educated, to take part in a 45-minute online focus group via Zoom, facilitated by Youth Employment UK. Your insights and experience from supporting your child and understanding their needs will help shape resources to better meet the needs of those with SEND. During the interview, you’ll also review a sample resource and share your feedback—no preparation required.

Youth Employment UK can work flexibly in their delivery of the interview and will endeavour to deliver this at a time that suits you.

If you’d like to participate, please email Sarah Latimer at sarah@youthemployment.org.uk with:

● Your name
● Your child’s age
● Your availability (a few dates/times that work for you in the next few weeks)

We’ll confirm the details and send you a Zoom link shortly after. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Your views can make a real difference, and we would greatly value your support!
