Did you know that roles in the Tech sector including Data roles pay 55% higher than the national average? Did you know that you do NOT have to go to university to get an entry level role in Data or in any area of Tech? London Digital Jobs & Skills Hub can connect eligible Londoners with FREE training courses including skills bootcamps (usually 12 weeks long), apprenticeships, and other courses to help you get the job you want!
Come along to this fantastic free event hosted at Microsoft’s London HQ on Tuesday 10th September to learn all about how it works and how you can get involved!
Register Now**ELIGIBILITY** – Please be aware that this event its self and the training opportunities discussed at this event are strictly only open to people who meet the following eligibility criteria. Please do not book a ticket for this event if you do not meet ALL of the following criteria:
- You MUST be currently unemployed OR working part-time for 16 hours per week or less OR you are on a zero hours contract.
- You MUST currently live in 1 of the 33 London boroughs proper, unfortunately any area just outside of London doesn’t count.
- You must NOT already currently be in any form of education.
- You must NOT already have a Computer Science degree or any degree relevant to the career you want to break into.
- You MUST have the legal right to live and work in the UK, and you MUST have lived in the UK or EEA for a minimum of 3 years (unless you have refugee status with the legal right to work in the UK).
Please also be aware that, while not all of the training opportunities we connect people with have an upper age limit, some of them do.
London Digital Jobs and Skills Hub particularly encourages women who are interested in breaking into the Tech industry to attend this event. However this event is open to all genders as long as all the eligibility criteria above are met.
