About This Opportunity
Bus Driver SWAP
4 Weeks SWAP
On completion of this programme, learners will meet the requirements to become a trainee Bus and coach driver with National Express. The delivery is blended with both face to face and online elements. It will include theory examination and practical examination also.
Every learner who completes and passes the first part of the PCV licence will be guaranteed an interview with National Express. The programme will also include wrap around support in English, Math, digital skills, pre-employment training, soft skills and employer determined content to ensure learners meets the job requirements which includes Customer Service, Equality and Diversity and Health & Safety responsibilities.
The programme will provide the following training and course:
• Passenger Carrier Vehicle (PCV) Licence acquisition (first stage)
o Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
o Module 1a – Multiple Choice
o Module 1b – Hazard Perception
o Module 2 – Case Study
o Module 4 – Practical demonstration training and test
• Employability Skills to prepare for interview
• Developing customer service skills
• Team building skills
• Communication skills
• Health and safety awareness
