As a General Technician (Workshops) you will manufacture and repair parts for aircraft, vehicles and specialist equipment. You will be working in specifically equipped workshops and aircraft maintenance hangers.
You will use manual and computer operated machinery like drilling, milling, cutting and forming equipment, you will manufacture or modify aircraft parts to strict standards and consult with Aircraft Technicians on the best methods of component removal and fitting.
RAF has recently been awarded a certificate from the Department of Education ranking the RAF as number 4 in the top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2024.
