The Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation are looking for an Apprentice to join our team. You will work towards a Community Activator Coach L2 Apprenticeship Qualification.
This Apprenticeship Offering is in Partnership with Coach Core. Coach Core’s vision is to drive social mobility through apprenticeships and sport, so that every young person can reach their true potential and inspire those around them. Since our launch in 2012, we have worked with over 150 of the biggest sports providers, youth clubs and charities in the country, supporting over 500 young people.

The Coach Core Apprenticeship programme has five main benefits:
- To provide exciting and meaningful places of employment, that give the NEET young person the best possible chance of success during and after the programme.
- Achieve qualifications and vocational training that matches the criteria required by employers within the sports industry.
- Mentoring and experience of working alongside professionals from the industry including Sports Development Officers, experienced sports coaches, and personnel from National Governing Bodies.
- Practical experience of working in the industry at sports event, in schools, in clubs and coaching within sports venues.
- The opportunity to attend exciting events
Requirements
You must be enthusiastic about wanting to work within the sport and physical activity sector and be committed to inspiring others to be more physically active. No prior coaching experience is required, but a willingness to learn, develop and challenge yourself is essential.
As with any apprenticeship programme, you will be required to complete a qualification as part of your employment. As far as is possible, we will work to make this as practical as possible, to ensure you can put your learning into practice.
A Full UK Driving Licence is Required for his role.
