We are looking for students who have an interest in doing something meaningful. Become a Gubbe Helper and create a more active and happy life for the elderly! Earn money through a meaningful part time job on your own terms and at your own schedule.
The work consists of meeting an elderly person for 2+ hours a week to go for a walk, cook, clean, help in the garden etc. This way you’ll bring a happier life to the elderly person who in many cases suffers from great loneliness.
A typical visit includes:
- Being outdoors & exercise
- Help with errands
- Being present
- Household chores
- Socialising
This job provides you with meaningful part – time work and the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with a view to their future.
Requirements
- Completed the basic level of the DBS check
- You are the innovative and cheery type and have the ability to be truly present
- You can commit to work on a weekly basis for at least 3 months
