About the opportunity
ABP UK have an exciting opportunity available for you to join them and train as as an Abattoir Operative. You will work alongside their skilled workers and learn how to do various jobs in the abattoir on a daily basis. You will also be put you through your level 2 Modern Apprenticeship in Meat and Poultry Skills.
You will learn how to be a fantastic Abattoir Operative learning the different jobs in this department alongside completing apprenticeship coursework from the training provider.
The apprenticeship takes around 12 to 18 months and is mainly practical work based where you learn the jobs and the assessor will come to assess your progress on a regular basis.

- Good communication skills
- Able to use own initiative
- Looking for a long term career in food
- Previous experience beneficial but not required as full training can be given
