About the opportunity

As a HR Apprentice, based at a State-of-the-Art Global Technology Centre in Bristol, you’ll be working closely with the HR Manager and HRBP in providing administration and operations support across the employee lifecycle for around 300 employees.

This apprenticeship will provide you with development and training across a wide range of business knowledge, skills and behaviours to include but not limited to:

• Handling all Recruitment administration and the on boarding of new starters including but not limited to Right to work checks, security clearances, new starter documentation and organising of inductions
• Drafting employment changes letters and administering the change
• Management of all off boarding administration
• Maintaining records on electronic HRMS (Human Resource Management system); setting up new starters and any employee changes
• Coordinating training and development events; managing invitations, room booking, attendance tracking
• General administration in line with GDPR
• Supporting local initiatives and projects to increase employee engagement and help make GKN Aerospace a Great Place to Work.
