If you are 16 – 25 and have not yet found a way into a job you love, explore this traineeship programme from Whitehead-Ross Education & Consulting Ltd.
Through our flexible Traineeship programme, we will:
- Help you build a winning CV
- Upskill your qualifications
- Increase you confidence
- Match you to a work placement that suits your skills, interests, and careers plan
- Give you the opportunity to spend 2 weeks in Spain on a work placement with all costs covered
- Most importantly, help you progress into your next training or employment position.
Each learner attends our classroom roughly 3 days per week (minimum of 15 hours per week). The qualifications that learners will work towards with us are:
- Functional skills Maths
- Functional skills English
- Essential digital skills
- Employability skills
- Lifelong learning skills.
On top of the classroom based sessions, learners are also required to complete 70 hours of a voluntary work placement with a local employer. The placement will be sourced by us, which can be in any chosen career path. Work placements usually start from around week 6 so we can get to know the learner well beforehand, let them settle in and to find a placement that is really suited to the young person’s career ambitions.
Our Traineeships work on a rolling programme, so there is no official start date, therefore learners can sign on to the traineeship at any time.
