Am I Eligible for this FREE training?

To qualify for this course, you will need to be:

  • Resident within one of the 7 Local Authorities of the West Midlands Combined Authority, these are: Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton (check your eligibility by using our In My Area page).
  • You can also confirm your eligibility by checking with your nearest training organisation and if you live outside of the West Midlands Combined Authority Area you may be eligible for other courses via the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and the National Careers Service (NCS).
  • Aged 19 or older on 31st August 2021.
  • Unemployed, in receipt of benefits or earning less than £18,135 per year (you will need to provide evidence of annual salary e.g. last three months’ payslips, Employment Contract, Universal Credit Statements).

  • Some courses may require you to pass a Maths, English or Functional Skills test.
