3 New Job Vacancies – Youth Employment UK is Hiring!

Youth Employment UK is recruiting for 3 individuals who want to help us improve the systems and experiences around young people in the UK.

There are 3 different roles available.

Membership Experience Manager

Working hours: some flexibility – 30 – 37.5 hours a week.

Location: Kettering office base combined with travel required for meetings, opportunities for hybrid working

Salary: £27,037 – £32,445

Working for our Commercial Director you will be key to our growth strategy, identifying organisations who are committed to developing good youth employment strategies and who want to work with the leading youth employment expert. You will build relationships with HR, Talent and L&D professionals and help them utilise our membership benefits (they can be viewed here).

We are seeking a dynamic individual with a background in working with or for membership bodies, where expertise in fostering positive member experiences is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will not only bring a wealth of knowledge about membership programmes in HR/business services but will also possess exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating confidence in engaging with diverse audiences. We value persuasive communication abilities and a genuine passion for supporting members.

Senior Marketing Executive

Working hours: full time – 37.5 hours a week

Location: Kettering office base combined with travel required for meetings, opportunities for hybrid working

Salary: £29,000 – £34,000 depending on experience

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be instrumental in supporting the marketing team and the delivery of our marketing activity.

We are looking for someone with experience in marketing and communications and who is passionate about their specialism. Quality and process management will be something that is a top priority to you and you will be able to demonstrate how you have led and managed multiple processes and projects in your previous role.

We are also looking for someone who has previous people management experience, ideally with apprentices and can demonstrate how they are able to support the career development of others through their leadership experiences.

Operations Director

Working hours: This role could suit both part-time or full time candidates 22.5- 37.5 hours a week. This is a temporary 6 month contract.

Location: Kettering office

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 f.t.e depending on experience

We are looking for someone who is experienced in operations management and can take our internal systems and processes to a new level.

This role works closely with the CEO and Deputy CEO, and will be responsible for taking on the day to day operations of Youth Employment UK and building our internal systems and capacity so that our Office Manager can then take the reins to run the operations.

You will be someone with experience of operations management and leadership, a critical thinker, who is able to analyse system challenges and present back and implement solutions that improve efficiencies and support people and culture.

It is important that you have a high technical standard of knowledge across HR and Finance Systems as well as IT as there are a number of projects in these particular areas that you will lead on. You will also have great people skills and be able to inspire, support and develop colleagues so that new systems really are fit for purpose and can be fully utilised and embedded across the whole organisation.

As a youth-led organisation we are pretty unique, our expertise, services and advice is centred around what young people tell us they are experiencing, what they want and need. Once applications have been reviewed there will be a 2 stage interview process.

Stage 1: informal interview via zoom. Proposed dates are 12th/13th February.

Stage 2: an in person interview which will include a presentation to a selection of colleagues, meeting the staff team and visiting our Kettering base. Proposed dates for the interview are the 15th-16th February.

All candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS & employment is subject to references being received.
